2004 Argo Response with factory winch.....Makes a loud clicking sound when the winch switch is moved to forward or reverse, but nothing happens. Not sure how to diagnose if the problem is in the winch or the unit that sends power to it......any thoughts?????? |

Jamie, sounds like just not making a good connection somewhere. Check all wires, just wiggle each connection, while trying the winch at the same time, If that does not work, then you may have a bad relay. That will be the part that is attached to your frame bracket. |

Anon has it right. I had the same problem with the winch on my Conquest. It turned out there was some corrosion at the battery where the circuit breaker is joined. It took me almost 2 hours to find it. Be patient |
