I have a few questions about my Max II. I'm going to replace all the chains and sprokets, the question is my axles are hollow there is a brass bushing inside, has anybody had exp. in replaceing them, or would it be better to buy ne solid axles? any help would be great.

Robert, buy new axles with bushings installed.
Richard has them at a good price or you could take the old ones to a machine shop and have new ones made up.
They could probably use the old wheel mounting hardware with some gussets for added strength.
With new axles you'll have a much easier time installing new bearings and sprockets.
