Howdy. I'm swapping out the motor in my Sachs-powered Amphicat. The tranny is the one with enclosed brakes and clutches The original belt was 1'' but the new one is like 1 5/16'', or the standard snowmobile size. The new motor clutch is a Comet 94c. What can I do to make the secondary clutch accomodate the wider belt? I tried a few big nuts in it and tying them in with wire but they violently flew out. I need some type of shim or spacer that won't come out and that can take the extreme pressure of the sping. Thanks |
