i just bought a old max i think there is no identification that i can find
can anybody tell me ware to look
when did these things come with 4-stroke engines this one has a single cylinder koler 2-stroke that i thought would be my bigest problem but i mixed some fuel at 50:1 and put a battery in it and it started right up and sounded good
any recomendations on wear to get new rimes and tires there is only 4 tries and rims on it so i dont think i should drive it yet
any way this thing looks fun i bet my kids will love it

The owner of this website has a large assortment of wheel and tire packages and stocks a full inventory of parts. I would try and support him if possible. His contact information is Richard Clark and he has a website with parts listed. He can be located through the route6x6 home page and through the classifieds under parts for sale. If you e-mail him expect several days for a return answer. His telephone contact information is listed and is the best way to contact him if you are in a hurry.

I believe all old max's with 2 cycle engines ran 32:1 oil mixture because of the jetting to make them run in the warmer temperatures. If the engine is original, I would run this mixture or you may have a lean/low oil problem. Better to foul a plug than lock-up the engine.
