Hello, I love my new Max IV 850. I want to put in a bilge pump for safety when in creek/river environments. I'd like to hear from those who have done this which pump to buy and where/how to install inside the Max. thanks, Harold |

Well, I can tell you from experience that water in my Max IV tried to drag the rear end down, so I suppose that the further back the better. I'm not sure that it would be important one way or the other as to which rear corner as a slight weight shift by passenger/s can pool the remaining water to the desired corner. On this note, can anyone give me the technical specs on wheel bearings so that I can price them out via the internet. As you might have guessed, I blew them out the first time I tried to perform grease maintenance. |

By the way, it seems some of the pumps have or are available with switches that activate the pump automatically when sensing the presence of water. |
