I am looking for somthing to get 2-4 of us around in the bush in Canada on fishing trips. We will be using it to get from lake to lake on trails with lots of large rocks and trees. How would somthing like a Max IV work for doing this? Or would I be better off looking for a 4X4? Thanks Charlie |

Charlie: A MaxIV would do fine. I use one and with myself wife 2early teens there always seem to be lots of room. What area do you come from as if you are in southern Ont. you can try mine. |

Charlie, depends on how much you want to be able to take with you when you go and want to be able to take out- the argo 8x8 has more cargo room than any of the others, including max, and you may have more room in an ARGO, but it all depends greatly on certain conditions. |

Larry thank you for the offer but I live in Kansas. We have been going to the area around Ignace the past few years and love it there. The place we have been going has several remote lakes with boats on them that we must use 4X4s to get to. For the past years they have supplied the 4X4s but due to libality they are no longer going to do that so I have been shopping. 4 of us go up so we would need at least 2 4X4s and Im wondering if one Max IV would do the job. |

Charlie, I'm in mid Missouri on I-70 just about 200 miles from Kansas. I'll have a 27hp Max IV on hand in about two weeks. You are welcome to come out and see how it performs. I have 20 acres of woods land with trails and a lake for demo riding. |

The oil drains out of the bottom of the engine at the left side. If you look directly under the left brake to the side of the engine, then look at all the places where their is a screw or bolt or something, you'll see one that takes an allan key to open- thats the oil drain. Use a plastic ziploc bag or something that is easy to get under the drain hole, it makes a hell of a mess when it spills. |
