Yes it will. I have the gauge on my Max and it works ok for a tach. It is slow but at least you can see a ballpark range for your RPMs. It makes a great hour meter. Why do you need a tach, is your Max stock? If my meter gets wet, even morning dew, it will read double RPMs. ??? Order the tach that is made for the TWO STROKE engines. If you order the four stroke model it will read double. All the new Kohler and Briggs engines fire on both the compression and exhaust strokes. MaxRules |
