Just purchased a 2005 Argo Conquest 8X8 will get it in a couple of weeks.
I have driven another one in the snow an it was nice and warm in the back but I will be driving it in the Ca. Mountains and it can get warm up here. with the brake fans will it be to hot to ride in the back in the summer?
Also looking for roll bar not the rop Argo sells
thanks

Brian, you mentioned that is was warm in the back? The conquest is liquid cooled so as far as heat, that shouldn't be an issue. The brake fan as far as I know unless they changed it, sucks in outside air and draws it into the brakes to cool them off. The fan shouldn't produce any more heat than what would already be in there, its just a small fan with a duct connected to it to bring in that air to the disks and calippers.

As for the rollbar, I have a rollbar on my 8x8 magnum that actually has been used on 2 previous machines and was actually tested accidently when Dad rolled one of his previous machines into a muddy ditch one night. It worked perfectly and the machine is easily uprighted after. The rollbar is made of square tubular steel (i think) and connects right by the seatback, it has a bar that screws into the wooden baking on the seatback and that is just to give it added support. It also has a piece on either side that extends furthur back to give it more support so that if it does roll, it stays ridged and all the pressure isn't exerted in just one point. It is bolted to the outer flange that seals the upper and lower body on either side, right where the gas filler nozzle is. If you would like a pic of it, e-mail me at argo_mag@hotmail.com and i'll forward it to you.
