The vent tube on my 94 Argo Conquest has dry rotted and has pretty well disintegated. Has anyone ever replaced theirs ? It appears to me that I will have to pull the gas tank in order to get to the filler spout. According to the service manual, on my particular model I cannot pull the filler spout out through the body; however it is not specific as to what is required to access the vent. I assume the tube must be replaced. Any ideas where this type plastic tubing can be obtained locally vs ordering from a dealer ? |
