I just purchased Amphicat that needs considerable body repairs. Can the Amphicat bodys be repaired with fiberglass? I think it is made of ABS but I'm not sure. Thanks |

BLAINE,IF ITS ABS ITS BEST TO FIX IT WITH ABS REPAIR MATIRIAL,(CHECK ALL THE MESAGES UNDER THIS TOPIC)YOU MIGHT FIND THE STUFF LOCALY IF YOU HAVE CANOE SALES,AND-OR MANUFACTURS-WELL LOCALY!IF NOT THAN E-MAIL, ALSO YOU MIGHT KEEP N EYE OUT FOR A PARTS MACHINE THAT MIGHT HAVE A SOUND BODY OR AT LEAST-DOHNER PANALES GOOD LUCK!!! |

It appears from all of the advertizing on Amphicats say they are made of ABS so I will try the ABS repair kits first. The Body does have some fiberglass over a hole in one corner. Should I remove it and repair it with ABS as well? |
