Hi everyone

I have a Max II with JLO 295 engine. Have problems with engine overheating when in mud or just driving down road. Has a walbro WR carb which I rebuilt 3 times and adjusted the float 3 million times!!!! I think I've got the adjustment screws worn out!!! I'm just wondering if the engine is out of time? I'm to the point where I think it's electrical ( bad coil, armature, condenser?) or out of time. Anybody out there in 6 wheeling land ever had this problem??? Please HELP!!!!!! Thanks for all replys.

I also have a MaxII with the JLO 295 that I have been working on recently and have the same problem overheating, revs to a certain rpm then bogs down to nothing until I pull the choke closed then it will pick up fuel and do the same thing all over again, I have rebuilt the carb I have changed the carb I have had it apart a dozen times, rebuilt the engine, I think every JLO engine I have ever had has been a problem, I would like to hear some new input on this problem too, im getting ready to pull the engine and change it out with a CCW 400 twin cyl. I think it would make a more dependable engine.
