Qusetion: I park my ARGO Bigfoot on a concrete pad. After it sits for several days, when I ride it , it seems that the tires are flat on one side.
So it bounces alot. Is this normal ? Is this because they are like old bias ply cars tires that did this ? The new radials don't. Do they make radials with a similar tread pattern like the stock Rawhide tires? Thanks.

I just bought a new Max II with the standard 21 inch tires. On my first ride, I noticed what seems to be a bumpy ride like a tire being out-of-round. I am a novice at riding 6x6's and don't know what is "normal". I thought maybe low pressure in one or more of the tires could have caused this condition but since I have no low pressure tire gauge I cannot check this out. Can someone please tell me if this condition is normal and also where can I purchase a low pressure tire gauge? I have only been able to find 1-20 psi and my tires don't even start to read.

Jack, a 1-20 guage works just fine - if it won't register, it means you have less air in your tire than what you need. Put air in them until you get to the mark between the "2" and the "3". That would be 2 1/2 PSI and should work just fine.

And some people wonder why there are so many requests for help with max problems!

Jack, your problem also might be the cold weather (depending on where you live). When your Max sits over night or longer in freezing weather, the flat spot of your tire (the part touching the ground) will sort of freeze in that shape. Then you go for a ride and that spot hits the ground as the tires spins around and causes it to feel bumpy. This same thing happens with tractors.
If you ride for a while it will go away and it won't do it this summer. For the best ride, put about 1psi in your tires. You will not believe the difference in ride quality from 3psi to just 1psi. Good luck with the Max.
