I Was riding today and it stalled again starving for fuel. i let it sit again for 15min and the fuel pump started working again. is it possible for the motor to stop the vaccum even when it's running? i have no idea what todo next.

WHY DOES TAPPING THE FUEL PUMP CLEAR UP THE PROBLEM SOMETIMES? WHATS INSIDE THE PUMP?

tim, inside there are rubber ear flap type gaskets which act like valves. sometimes they stick from gas sedement and oil that gets in from the crankcase through the pulse line. you tapping it frees them up. lotsa' people have this problem.
if you install a clear gas line for the impulse you can monitor easier.

Could it be related to the oil filling procedure that others have mentioned?
