I have a Bigfoot with 15hrs on it. I think the rear chains are loose. I do not want to drive to the dealer to have it checked unless I have to. The dealer suggested I pry up on the tensioners with a screwdriver and see if that helps.....that does not see to do anything. I also don't know if I should be prying up from the front of the tensioner or the rear....anyone have anyway to tell it the tensioners are working properly or how to make them work properly if they are not? Thanks

jamie,if you use a screw driver to pry up on your tensioner you will most likely pop of the pillow block.check to see if you tensioner is dirty or maybe alittle rusty.if that is all good then see how much tension your springs have( you can pull the tensioner back wards)if they seem to be tight just let your tensioner spring back on it's own.then do alittle forward and backward driving.backup hit the brakes etc.then check the chains again.this is what i did with my bigfoot.i also had to put 1 turn on my springs.you might also look at your blocks to see if they're worn.
