just got an old 6x6 not to sure what the heck it is, kinda looks like a chapparel, What I do know is it has T20, JLO 295, My question is the engine has looks like 3 wires coming out of the back of the pull start cover, one of them is attached to the coil and it runs so im assuming thats right, now the other 2 look to have been hot at one time, about 3 inches sticking out and the insulation is melted a bit..Are these from an altenator? One more thing, whats the best way to find out what the heck this thing is? What its made of? (cracks need fixed) What year it is? Im new to 6x6s...But im a fast learner.. Thanks |

ARE THOUGHS 2 WIRES THE SAME COLOR, SAY YELLOW MAYBE? THEY WOULD BE FOR YOUR CHARGING SYSTEM, BATERY OR LIGHTS, BUT MUST FIRST PASS THREW A RECTIFYER TO BE CHAINGED TO DC
NOW IF YOU HAVE A REAR HATCH LIKE A TRUNK LID OVER YOUR ENGINE AND YOUR HEADLIGHTS ARE ON LOWER BODY YOU MY FRIEND HAVE A SCHAPPEREL
THEY ARE A.B.S AND an A.B.S. REPAIR KIT WILL FIX IT UP NICE,

Yes they are yellow, and i do have a rear hatch and lower headlights..guess I have a Chapperal..lol..Thanks for answering those questions for me David, Im sure Ill come up with more.. |
