On top of the engine the lable says "JLO" It has 2 cylinders, 1 carb, electric and pull start, no numbers or serial plate can readily be seen. Motur is still in the engine bay. What could this be? 340? 400? etc? |

The tag will be at the bottom of the engine. I think it is on the intake side but very low. |

I take it to mean it is on the block, down low on the side, but not on the bottom. I scrape some of the grease off and maybe find it. I need to find the housing or shroud that holds the electric starting motor for the engine. I thin it is a 400, but not sure. |

Shazzamm! I found the serial plate below the coils. It is a SF 400-2. Anyone know the vintage of this model? |
