I'm getting ready to take delivery of my thrid Argo. It is a new camo Vanguard 2 with a 23 HP Vanguard. I'm upgrading to the bigger engine to help turn tracks and big tires @ high altitude.
My question is what is the biggest somewhat practical tire someone has put on a Argo Bigfoot or late model Vanguard with the Bigfoot frame/wheel base?
I like the look of the 25" Rawhide III and 26" Tru powers, but have also been looking at the GBC Dirt Devils in 26"+ sizes. Are the 6 ply tires going to be too hard for a good ride? Suggestions?

argomike, whatever tire you choose, remember, it must be able to SKID!!! A tire for a quad is not meant to skid. Runnamucks are skid tires, by this I mean they don't catch sideways like another tire would. However, any tire will catch and if you are lucky like, me, you may end up with the ARGO on top of you- all 1000 pounds of it. The rawhides are a but of a rough ride, but suck in water, runnamucks suck in mud, great in water. hope this helps
