Does anyone have any experience with it? Do they work well or not. I mainly duck hunt with my argo and i am wondering wether or not they get torn up in the mud. Thanks for you help. |

clarke- i have read many many posts re: outboards. i hope to install one in the spring. there are several shots of argos with outboards on the last few argo videos. some guys say that you must have a long shaft outboard, but if you go that route you make the problem of what to do with the outboard as you climb up the bank out of the water, worse. I do not know anybody who has tried Fred's dual built on electric outboards. I would love to hear a report. If the propeller blades are under power when you go into mud you will have to buy another propeller or two. What kind of machine do you have? |

Philip, I have an avenger efi. I have been told that the props on dual thrust. Don't get in the way when you are comming out of the water. If you forget to lift them I have been told that they wont tear up while going forward. I am still in the early stages of trying to figure this stuff out. It almost sounds to good to be true. What do you think? What type of machine do you ride in? |

How about an outboard with power tilt and remote control so you could operate it from the front? Oh and electric steering too. It works for me. |

Hi Richard I decided on a Yamaha 6HP 20" shaft. Plenty of poop and not so heavy. I would love to set it up the way you have yours but mine is terrestial 80% of the time. Good to hear from you. Ron |
