I was clicking through chanels on TV today and landed on an episode of "Mystery Science Theater 3000" .On this show the host and two puppets view old sci fi movies and make fun of them . I didn't get the name of the movie they were watching but there was a scene about two minuets long where two people were blasting up and down a beach in a bright yellow "Jiger" . They repeat these shows a lot, someone might be able to catch it and get the name of the movie. |

Rustyjeep, the movie with the Jiger scene is a stinker called "Girl With Gold Boots". The vehicles are about the most interesting thing on the film! My girls really enjoy the robots wisecracks. I try to watch it with them (paternal bonding) I usually fall asleep! Anyhow the Jiger scene looked like the best action in the movie! shame it was so short. Vote Dave for President! |

Dave, Thanks for the info. Was there only one scene with the Jiger? I guess I didn't miss much if it was. I get a kick out of the robots wisecracks too ,untill my kids start repeating them too much.It is rare to see vintage 6x6s on TV. I remember seeing some 6x6s on commercials in the late 60s. I think it may have been on a cigarette commercial? Does anyone know of any other movies or TV shows that used 6x6s in them? |
