Ran across these.. some great boondockin' movies! An Alaskan 4x4 site is hosting them. They have broadband(50 megs) and modem(6~15 meg) versions. They are windows media video files. |

These are REALLY good. The download will resume if you lose connection, so even modem users could get them, start it before you go to bed.. They want you to right click and save to hard drive anyway. The 2004 Trailer beta is good.. the 2005 is also good, esp when one vehicle goes in the water and disappears! These guys are nuts. I want to take an amphib and film them. |

One thing I learned from a friend of mine in FLA. was that if you are going through water like that in a truck you need to put water in your tires to keep it from floating off it adds weight and rivers usually have a hard bottom. I don't have any experience with this myself so I can't tell you the variables but maybe someone else can explain better. |
