We've waited long enough for an eight wheel drive Max. I just got the latest Max newsletter which introduces the new Max 8x8. It is a mid-engine design with the Max IV style front end. The rear will have a bench seat with a cargo area behind it, or an optional dump bed like the Buffalo. It is pictured with the 25" Rawhide III tires but I think it will be offered with the 26" tires also. I will scan the picture and post more info tomorrow!!! |

This had better not be an "April Fools", Brandon... |

This is one tough crowd. Hard to get anyone excited around here. Of course it's April Fools but it's fun to dream. Brian (in the Max IV at Deepwater) brought over his Argo Response today and that 8x8 did some very nice hill climbs. I was impressed. We took the Max IV everywhere else and did some super steep lake bank climbs that no other machine could make. I've tried everything except the Avenger on those lake banks but the IV did a nice job on them. Send me a pile of Deepwater pics Bud! |

Congratulations! to Bud for being so quick to smell a rat. I was still trying to talk the wife into going to see one when I saw Bud's post. You're wrong Brandon, cause I was really excited. Damn. I thought maybe I could run with Roger Smith. |

I was going to photoshop a max 8 wheeler together and play the game, but lost interest, hehe. Brandon, if the response won't make it over the top, put 2 or three more people in it. Works better, almost a wheel stand at the top! |

Why is it that RI has never made an 8x8? Just curious. I would think that if they made their Buffalo model into an 8x8, that it would be a real good workhorse. Just my opinion, and you know what they say about opinions, lol. |
