The Badlands ride was a great success with 48 amphibians attending. Midwest ATV did a great job of putting the ride together. I met a lot of great people. Everyone who came Saturday got a raffle ticket and we held a drawing at 1pm that day. Sponsors donated about 100 prizes ranging from t-shirts and hats to an Argo utility storage pouch and heated throttle cables.
Most of the vehicles were Maxs and Argos anywhere from early 70s models to the experimental 25hp Max II. E&M Argo Sales also brought a 2-stroke Chaparral. Everyone enjoyed the ability to get in a smaller group and ride anywhere in the Badlands park. Terrain ranges from easy trail rides to steep hills and deep mud.
A great time was had by all. I look forward to more 6x6 rides in the near future.
Special Thanks To:
Midwest ATV for putting the ride together and donating many great prizes.
Orr's All Season Vehicles for donating a huge amount of Argo shirts, coolers, duffle bags, and other cool Argo merchandise.
John and Joe from Recreatives for coming from New York to ride with us and showing off the 25hp Max II. Those guys know how to ride hard and have fun!
Thanks to all the Recreatives team for donating the Max hats and Shirts.

Brandon,
I have to agree with you about the ride. This was the best ride I have been on and I think it will just get better in time.
I think it was so good because of the people that showed up. Everyone showed up to just have fun. There was no talking about Max is better or Argo is better. Everyone just had fun and helped out each of us as we got stuck. You saw Argo's pulling out Maxes and Maxes pulling out Argo's. I even had a Max and an Argo pull me out at the same time once. Neither machine could do it by their selves. Between the people showing up, the nice door prizes, and the bon fire, It was a blast. Oh yeah, the BadLands is a nice place to go and ride with the different terrain there. The only thing that I think can make it better is a night ride and I will be talking to the owners this week about having a night ride there for the next ride.

We enjoyed the ride too. My brother was able to come up from Nashville and ride with us. He doesn't get to ride with us much since we live in Oklahoma and he's so far away in TN. It was a great spot inbetween to ride and we all enjoyed riding with so many different people. I really enjoyed seeing the 25 HP Max 11 from New York. I've never seen a Max hydroplane that far before on water! Can't wait to go to another ride. If enough people are interested, we could get together in notheastern Ok next spring and have a ride. There are all types of different terrian and many places to ride that don't cost anything and have no rules. E-mail me if you are interested or just want to ride in or around the Oklahoma area.
