I've often seen people on Quads running trails along side of the NYS thruway. I haven't seen any trails cross the thruway, just along it. Since this is all state land, is this legal? It looks like a blast.

David, hi how are you doing. I live in Franklin Lakes, NJ not to far where the thruway and 287 come together. If you are talking about that area. It has been closed off and the Mahwah police have been actively enforcing it. I've been hoping to hear of something around here we we could ride.

G'day Mark. I'm not actually talking about that area, but I know where you are talking about. I'm talking about the New York State Thruday, between Syracuse and Buffalo. I'm thinking it's illegal as well, but who knows.
