What I thought was a 295 Wild Wolf turns out to be a ST/300/D. Anybody have any ideas what the ST or the D designate?

From the information I have(dealer price list 1969) I belive the "D" stands for Deluxe ,it lists the "ST 300 D "having a wood grain dash, electric start ,heavy duty axles and reverse. The "300" I belive stands for the 300cc JLO Rockwell motor. I'm not sure about the "ST" but on the 208TT ,the "TT" stands for "Terrain Tamer".

I just picked up a ST300/D for parts. Good news and bad news. Bad news first, none of the parts will work on my Thunderchief. Good news, the parts will work on the 208tt that I will hopefully acquire soon.
How do I pull the driven clutch off of the transmission? This transmission has reverse and I don't think the 208tt does.

Does anybody know what the difference's were on these Attex models?
The 400, 440, 450 & 500? Were they just numbers or did it indicate the engine cc size?
Is there really taht much of a performance difference between a 400 and a 500?
