Route 6x6 Discussion Board: Restoration of older ATV's: Amphicat

I just got an Amphicat with Sachs 297 engine.
I am wondering what trans it has in it. It has T-92
cast into it. Any info on the engine, trans or how to tell the year or model # would be appreciated.I have pics avalible.
