I`ve updated my picture with the canoe rack the guys at the shop are fabricating.
The corners are being replaced with angled pieces so they won`t get hung up in the trees as easily.
Looking good so far, they will sand blast and paint it.
Should be ready to be picked up sometime this week.

Ok, it`s ready!
New picture attached, ready for pick up tomorrow.

Hi kevin,
Great rack! Never thought i'd say that to a guy!
I think it needs some diagonal braces though, it is not very strong the way it is, if you get it caught on a tree or something it will bend and probably damage the hull where it is attached.
Bye.

I agree with Eugene, nice set of racks there buddy! :-) HEHE!
Kevin, thanks for keeping us up to date on your new machine. I know you're excited about it, as was I when I first got mine. Just in time for the weekend/holidays, huh? Don't forget to tell us about your first few experiences on it. Happy bouncing!
PS - I went to your website. Lively Ontario? That's just outside of Sudbury, isn't it??

The rack is like a rock!
They did an excellent job on it.
I picked the machine up and it`s in the driveway.
Had an opportunity to take a little spin on it and needless to say I was very impressed.
Lively is just west of Sudbury, that`s where the Shop Industrial is where I purchased the Conquest.
The roads were decent going down but coming back they were brutal, ice covered combined with freezing rain but it was worth the trip!

KEvin, do you actually plan on using the rack for a canoe or is it mainly a rops add on?? Regardless, it looks great and I actually thought it was a ODG product. Lets see some more pictures of it.

Dave;
The rack will be used to carry a canoe once in awhile, it will also be used for carrying anything long that won`t go in the Argo itself.
I might even attach a couple of headlights to it for running at night.
It`s not a ROPS but it is solid enough to provide some protection.
I think I can add extra storage to it as well for rope and other gear.
It can also be used as a shelter by placing a tarp over the frame of the rack.
I`ll take it out for a run just as soon as the roads de-ice.
Time today will be spent reviewing the manual and creating a logbook for maintenance.
