Does anyone know how to change tubs for a max? Mine is severly damaged and I feel that it would be safer and easier to just switch the tub. Am I wrong is it really hard? Fran

IS IT A REALY OLD ONE?
THE OLD ONES ARE A.B.S. AND REPAIRABLE.
ANYWAY YES YOU NEED TO TAKE QUITE A BIT APART TO GET THE FRAIM OUT AND DROP IT IN THE NEW HULL(TUB)
IT'S NOT HARD TO FIGURE OUT,
NOW IF THE DAMAGED ONE HAS ENOPHE LEFT TO IT MAYBE IT WOULD MAKE A GOOD SKID PLATE FOR THE NEW HULL,
BASICLY DISCONECT WIRES AND FULE LINE.
REMOVE UPPER BODY,
REMOVE THE BOLTS FOR DRIVE TUBES AND REMOVE THE BOLTS FROM THE OUTER BEARING FLANGES,
PULL THE AXELS OUT OF DRIVE TUBES OUTER BEARINGS AND ALL,
MARK WITCH PLACE IT CAME FROM AS TO PUT IT BACK INTO THAT SPOT APON ASEMBLY AGAIN,
YOU WILL PROBLY NEED TO DO THE SAME WITH CHAINS AND DRIVE TUBES,
REMEMBER TO CATELOG WHERE THEY CAME FROM CAIRFULLY SO THEY CAN BE ASSEMBLED THE SAME AS THEY WERE.
WHEN YOU HAVE THE 6TH ONE DONE YOUR READY TO REMOVE THE FRAIM, BUT WITH ENGINE AND TRANY IT'L BE VERRY HEAVY SO YOU WILL NEED HELP.
REVERS THE ORDER TO ASEMBLE, GOOD LUCK!
