I just discovered the bearing under the engine on my 2000 Max II w 16 HP. Does anyone have an effective way to grease it? I can snake my hand down to it, but end up like the monkey holding onto the coconut inside a hollow tree. I can almost get the flex end of my grease gun down to it but can't attach it. Also I thought it might be easier with an angled zerk, but can't quite get a wrench on it?
How do those more mechanical than I grease that bearing?
Thanks.

Bill I dont own a Max but you might try a 90 degree adapter from yuor local parts store. It slide on to the zerk a right angle instead of straighton. I use one on my Big Foot to get to some of my zerks.

Bill, NAPA has a low profile 90 degree grease fitting (part # 700-2020) that lets you get to it.
