I am doing a "restification" to a 295 wild wolf that has been butchered by several previous owners. T-20 shifters are worn out, but the ones I've seen don't look like mine. they have just a pin on the bottom to engage the shift collar, but mine have a removeable t shaped pin. do these parts interchange? I also want to do a mainshaft conversion with parts from richard's- mine's not supported on the side opposite the clutch. is this conversion worth the money and effort? I am going to run a 2 stroke snowmobile engine from one of my sleds, but I don't know which one yet. I also need to know what size chain this machine needs, and how much I should buy. I also need to locate two tensioner sprockets for the trans to rear axle drive chains-the bearings are shot, and the sprockets are wallowed out. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance!

YOURS MIGHT BE OLD ENOPH TO BE MADE FROM A.B.S. PLASTIC, HOWS THE BODY?
DO YOU KNOW WITCH PLASTIC ITS MADE FROM?
THE IDLERS CAN BE REPLACED WITH PLAIN OLD BEARINGS THAT WILL FIT THE APROX SAME SIZE AS SPROKET AND ALSO INNER DIMENTION TO FIT BOLT, SOME EVEN HAVE SLEAVES ON THE INNER TO FIT THE BOLT, JUST VISET THE BEARING STORE AND FIND ONE TO FIT THE EREA YOU HAVE AND THE CHAINS WONT CARE AT ALL, I USED THEM FOR MY REAR CHAIN ADJUSTERS ON MY MAX II,

The conversion is worth it, especially if you're going to run a fairly high horsepower engine.
The idler bearing and sprocket may still be available through Richard's Relics, and if not Fafnir still makes the assembly. I can tell you where to get them if you email me direct.
Take Care
Don

My 69 st300 uses #40, my 72 colt and 74 Chief use #50. Shoup (farming supply) sells good US chain for 3.00/ft.
