I found the same problem on sliding the front axle out of my 2000 bigfoot. The bearing is seized on the axle. The argo bearings have a thin collar that is just enough to put a large monkey wrench around it, now use a 2 x 4 on the end of the axle to turn it. Once it pops and begins to spin you can pull the axle out.
