I was looking at exeseries on new argos and I saw a bilge pump. I cant find the page now but it gave me the impression that there is an area that cant be cleared with a cup or bucket. IT made me think that the entire thing thing floods alot in these secret places somewhere below the floor. Is there even a below the floor? Just curios because I will be doing a good deal of water driving .

Actully the floor where your feet go , all lifts out to expose the entire drivetran of the machine , whitch makes maintance a brezze once all the panels are removed, I take my bigfoot out in water all the time ,and haven't leaked a drop into it. I do check after every water run just to be on the safe side , I also keep the outer seals greesed up at all times.

Under the floor panels, the drive train is exposed. Where the chains go and drive on the axle sprokets, their is a recessed area that is a little lower than the rest of it. Water sometimes sits in the very front section and is not nearly enough to cause damage or is even a threat to the drive components. However, this area can't be drained with the bilge pump. The bilge sits behind the idler chains between the front roller chain and the engine. It is basically right under the large wheel that the belt is on. (closest to the firewall). It is elevated a bit here and doesn't reach the rest. To get any water out of here, you have to pull the plugs in the rear floor area and the back floor panel has to be removed. Drive up on a hill to elevate the front and it will come out. Any small hand pump will also work but water inside the body is very unusual unless it has rained, or the vehicle is starting to get old and the area around the axles let soem water in. Usually, they don't but it is possible.
