What are these two things, are they worth the money?
Thanks

The spark arrestor is a screen that goes over the end of your exhaust and most forests (and other public lands) require them. They have to be approved to keep from getting a fine. A fine is about $100 so they are very cost effective.
12 volt power is what used to be a cigarette lighter with a cover. Very useful for running air compressor, spot light and coffee pot or charging the battery in a cell phone or camera. Factory setup is very nice, but if $26 is too much, you can do it all yourself in about an hour plus the cost of the unit.

The 12V power point is just a cigarette outlet like in you car or truck, nice to use to power extra lights, air pump, or GPS. Usually located on the dash where it has easy access. The Spark arrestor is a fine screen that covers the end of the exhaust tip to keep hot sparks and pieces of metal from blowing out and touching the ground and starting forest fires, some places you ride you must have a USFS (United States Forest Service) approved spark arrestor to ride in the area. If you own a Max II then I would not use one because if you are in the mud then you will be constantly cleaning the thing out because of the location of the exhaust tip down by the tires, very muddy location. Some also say that it can zap your hp, it can for sure if it plugs up with mud. These two items are very cheap and the 12V outlet can be purchased at Wal-Mart, the spark arrestor can be picked up at a mower shop possibly. I have never needed a spark arrestor where I ride, but is a good idea to have one on hand.
