I have a new Argo Conquest and it is very obvious that the Goodyear Runamuks aren't going to survive much hard, rocky terrain. I am seriously considering going to Duro HF255 Tractor [offset chevron] tires. Is there any experience out there on this setup? The Argo distributor stands by the position that only Goodyear Rawhide IIIs or Runamuks are appropriate for the Conquest.

hey david: those hf 255 duro tire look tough!!!they are 4 ply rating ( that's mean tick//hard wall)...be aware that your drive will be like a rock!!!!i drive my max ll on itp black water 12.5 x 22 x 10...also a very agressive pattern on 4 ply rating...they can run even with no air at all but ridding is rough!!!! but unstopable at hard/rocky soil at low speed work great ( minimal bouncing!!).....at the end is your call!!!!also i believe that is the option choice on max iv ( 26 x 12 x 12 )

Dave,
I had a set of those HF 225 duro tires on a Sierra Trail Boss. Those tires are very hard and ride like a rock. The Goodyear Rawhide III tires are very aggresive tread and good for rough areas. I would recommend the Goodyear Rawhide Tire..Kemp
