I'm about to buy a 1993 MAX IV and was wondering if I can drive it into the back of my pick-up truck without building up the bed. Its a full-size 3/4 truck with the standard 48" between wheel wells on the inside of the bed. Will the MAX just climb in over the wheel well protrusions?

Tim

Tim,
Yes you can put it in the bed of your truck. If you can get a pallet, just put it between the wheels and it will ride flat.

Tim,
My Max IV won't fit between the wheelwells (95 chevy 1 ton long bed). I have the 26" tires on it and they run up over the wheelwells. This beats the wheelwells up real bad and if you leave the center tires on it they ride up on the top of the wheelwell. One solution I saw was to pull off the center wheels and they will straddle the wheelwell. I finally built a rack in the back for Max to sit on. I still pull the center wheels off to load, makes it much easier. Before it would tetter on the center wheels and tended to slam down on my sidewalls.
