Hello,
I'm writting some articles about a spanish engineer who designed different vehicles, one of them was a 6x6 called "Gato Montés":

He told me that, prior to the launching in Spain in the early 70s, he licensed the vehicle to the US Army to use it to save american soldiers in Vietnam(?), the vehicles were carrried by planes, and were thrown on the water fields, waiting to be picked by the soldiers up. The engine was Wankel, and the transmission was Borg-Warner, all assembled by Borg-Warner. About 3-4,000 were built. Do you know anything about that story? Please, email me at apalacin@hotmail.com, as I hardly visit the forum.
Thank you for your time and help.
Regards,
Antonio
