How can I convert the max control sticks to the argo style? The argo sticks are more comfortable for me because the grips are horizontal. (versus the Max grips are vertical).

Anyone done this? Do I need to fabricate a set from scratch, or is there an easier way.

(Note- reason for doing this is because I have trouble using my hands)

seems to me the easiest way is to take your control sticks out of your max and cut the upper stick at a 45 degree angle with a chop saw or other accurate means, turn the handle 180 degrees and mate the surfaces back together (practice on a piece of 3/4 pipe-metal or plastic-before you actually cut your control sticks). this should give you a 90 degree bend on your control stick. weld back into place, dress the weld and reinstall your control stick. be sure to plan your cuts out and mark them with a marker before you start cutting or you may end up with both sticks looking the same direction, or worse, instead of looking opisite each other like the argo t-sticks that are confortable for you. your throttle cable may stick out and get in the way after you reinstall it on your new horizonal handle, if so, try a twist throttle conversion. i think i saw a thread on this site about someone doing a twist throttle conversion for a max, do a search for the thread.....
