I've finally gotten my Power-trac to climb hills!
On the advice of another 6x6 member who asked to remain anonymous, I raised the rear of the engine 1.5" putting it on pretty fair incline on level ground. The payoff is that on steeper grades the engine is much nearer level keeping more fuel in the float bowl. darn thing was running out of gas with a full tank! There'd be enough gas to idle and run at about half throttle, but not nearly enough for the full throttle demands of a steep hill.Has anyone else using the big Kohlers had this problem? I asked around about a diaphragm carburetor for this engine but met with a lot of dumb looks and no useful input.
