During the winter this year I noticed that the fuel filter wasent filling up and when it was idleing it would like run dry and stall but when i gassed it a little the fuel flow was a little bit better and off the line it not so bad but at high RPM's it like not as powerfull as it was what does a fuel pump for a kohler 25hp go for? I think it might be the problem.is there a kit to rebuild it or is it just a replacement thing?

that a good question for a 25 horse power
kohler yes there is a rebuild kit for that 25
engine it should not be any more then 50 dollars
also that is the problem with your engine it the
fuel pump i have the same problem with my tecumseh
also you might want to check your fuel lines
and call your local kohler dealer
for rebuild kit that cheaper then buying a fuel pump
i am putting a return line on my scrambler to solved my fuel problem
i took my fuel pump mine

A pump for the Briggs is only $22 and that was at a high priced small engine shop. The Kohler is no different so it should be close to that price.

A original Briggs pump is indeed over 40$ the cheap pump
is an aftermarket pump, I have used both, either one seems
OK to me
