IF YOUR SEARIOS ABOUT TOWEING YOUR 6X6 WITH DOGS I SHUR HOPE YOU HAVE ALOT OF THEM,
YES YOU CAN STEAR WITHOUT POWER BUT ONLY BY DRAGING ONE SIDE OR THE OTHER,
NOT AN ENTIRELY KIND THING TO DO TOO THEM DOGS,
PREHAPS IF YOU BUILD SOME TYPE OF SLED WITH WAXED PLYWOOD UNDER EACH BANK OF TIRES AND GRAB BOTH SIDES FROUNT AXLES TO TOWE FROM IT COULD BE DONE, IN THIS CONFIG. THOUGH STEARING WOULD BE BY DIRECTING DOGS LEFT N RIGHT AS YOUR VEHICLES BRAKES WILL NOT WORK AT ALL,(BETTER FOR THE DOGS)

I agree with David Berger in that why would you want to do this when you have a machine capable of awesome possibilities. My dog loves riding in my Max I think she would be humiliated by attempting to pull it. Of course I love my dog that much that I would be the fool out there pulling.

MICHAEL,
WHY DO YOU ASK THIS???
ARE YOU LOOKING AT A BUYING OR RECOVERING MAX THATS NOT ABLE TO RUNN??
IF MAKEING A PURCHUS MAYBE YOU CAN CALL U.P.S. AND GET THEM TO DELIVER IT TO YOUR DOORSTEP,
MAYBE IT CAN BE REPAIRED ENOPH TO DRIVE UNDER ITS OWN POWER FROM THE SITE IT'S AT NOW,
WHATS THE SITUATION??????

Michael, why the hell would you want a dog sled team pull a MAX?? What would be the significance of doing that? I call that torture to the dogs and insanity by the rider unless their is a good reason.

maybe it got stuck in the snow eheheheh

How much weight is one capable of dumping before it turns over backwards I wonder? the max with the dump bed that is.

dog mushing
I want to purchase an ATV so that I can train my dog team in the off season. Seems a lot of professional dog mushers use 4 wheelers, like a yamaha mule,
I was just wondering if it was possible to it with the max.
I am new to all of this, but I think when a musher uses an atv he has the option of using engine braking.
I guess you need that when going down hill.
I appreciate your insights. I found a couple of used MAXs in the hood, so I won't need UPS.
I just rather get a MAX than a MULE!

WELL MICHAEL,
YOU SHOULD GET ONE FOR THE FUN IT IS TOO DRIVE,
YOU MAY PULL IT ONCE WITH THE DOGS TOO SEE IF IT'S A GOOD TRAINER BUT BE ADVISED THAT FOR STEARING YOU MAY HAVE TOO USE POWER INSTEAD OF DRAGING ONE SIDE OR THE OTHER,
NUTRAL ON ONE SIDE N A FEW QUICK REVES WILL HELP IT TURN, YOU WILL NOT WANT TO USE TRANY BRAKE WHILE YOUR DOGS R PULLIN, MAYBE THE FOOT BRAKE,
OR YOU MIGHT FIND THE DRAG FROM DRIVE TRAIN IN FWD GEAR AND THE DOGS PULLING IT WILL STEAR IT OK JUST BY PULLING OPOSET SIDE LATEREL INTO NUTRAL.
PLEASE LET US KNOW HOW THIS APLICATION TURNS OUT FOR YOU,
AND DO GIVE THEM DOGS A FEW RIDES IN THE MAX AS WELL

I am not trying to be critical but how exactly do you train a dog sled team with a 6x6 AATV?? Do you just run beside them with the max or are you actually getting them to pull you?
