Hi ebery body has any one considered adding Toyota Diesels B1 n B3 Engine Timing Belts (they r long enuf) and are toothed instead of chain and sprocket which r noisy and prone to more damage and subsequent breaking. These Timing belts are really really tuff and have been inducted to replace the timing chain in an engine. Any Comment

Your idea is not new, nor is it a bad idea. The belts you describe are used in many industrial applications, including final drive for some motorcycles (HD for one). They are quiet, smooth, and don’t rust. But they can be cut and you can’t break one in half to install it. Every time you replace one you would have to pull the axles for both sprockets to get the belts around the axles. And yes I have looked at the engineering of it.
