Is it my imagination, or did they put 4 wheelers back on Junkyard Wars after a season of Max's? It looks like the buggies are gon anong with one of the hosts. Does anyone know where the Max's went or why? I hate to see them gone, it just seems like six wheelers get no respect. Today's show was about building a mud racer, those projects were terrible, I bet the Max could have run the course better, I think I could have done better in my Attex!

Ok so the ugly 4 wheelers are back, and I am not too thrilled with the new host, but I guess it was unavoidable. Six wheelers seem to be some kind of oddity, and they seem to infect only a few of us with the love for them. I would think that in a junkyard the extra traction and superb maneuverability of a 6x6 would be the ultimate junkyard buggy. Besides the Max holds two people for easier junkyard travel. You think a few written comments would bring the max's back? Maybe they will switch back to six wheelers next season. BTW did someone really get the body from one of those?

Im not totally sure but Im led to believe that when you see the max 6 wheelers on Junkyard Wars you are actually watching The Scrapheap Challenge that originally aired in Europe and renamed Junkyard Wars for The Learning Channel. When you see the quads on the show you are watching Junkyard Wars thats filmed in the U.S. Look closely at the work areas and pay close attention to the accents of the people who compete on the show. From what it looks like TLC is trying hard to get the U.S. version to fly. Dont like the new host much either, they should have kept that Kathy Rogers and the goofy british dude.
