I have an opportunity to pick up a "PasseParTout" double track unit. I have never heard of one till now. Can anybody let me know the details on these unit's and maybe their capabilities and value.

You bet Dm. I have one along with service and part manuals for it. Can you tell me what year yours is or describe it a little more to me. I.e. engine, track width, size. They were made at three different locations over the years. Mine is one of the last made in Michigan. It will ford about 18" water and other than that is nearly unstoppable. Great for climbing over downed trees and brush piles. Search this board for Passe Par Tout and you will find some of my previous discussions. Feel free to e-mail me if you like. I paid $1250 for mine in fair condition.
