I am a new and proud owner of a 1995 conquest. It came with super tracks. How do I remove them ? Can anyone help ?????? Thank you

Remove the set screw from the collar in the middle of one of the steel rods that hold each section of track together.Do this at either the front or back of the machine so that when you drive out the pin it does not hit the body.

If you get them off, it is not as easy to reverse the process to get them back on. I usually drive onto the tracks then let the air out of all the tires. Then I use C-clamps to pull the track together and slip the rod back thru, making sure I get the collar in as I do it. After tightening up the set screw, I release the C-clamps and pump the tires back up. It is a good idea to have extra set screws because if one comes out, it is a devil to find.
